Takeda Cares Day 2016 Identity
Takeda Cares Day is an annual event that rallies Takeda employees from around the country in the spirit of health, wellness and charitable causes. For the second year in a row, BatesMeron was proud to join forces with Takeda to support this bighearted day of giving. This year, we refreshed the event identity and worked with Takeda’s team to help employees and volunteers gear up with official Takeda Cares Day swag for the main event: a 5k walk/run. The money raised goes to Chicagoland organizations that Takeda employees vote on to support.
We developed an identity that worked within Takeda’s brand guidelines while still giving the charity event its own unique look and feel. Inspired by the steadfast growth and reaching branches of a tree, this look speaks to Takeda’s dedication to staying rooted in its community and its effort to engage and support people in need. We pulled this theme design through to the event collateral, which included day-of signage, volunteer lanyards, tote bags and t-shirts.
To share the great success of Takeda Cares Day post-event, we designed an infographic to guide readers through a recap of the day. The infographic shows off notable stats, exciting event imagery and special callouts that highlight the impressive cumulative impact of a single day of service.
We look forward to supporting Takeda’s mission each year as it continues to improve the lives of so many from our hometown of Chicago.
