Your cheat sheet to enjoying the 2014 Chicago Flower & Garden Show is here.
To help show regulars, newbies and curious Chicagoans make the most of the annual event held at Navy Pier, BatesMeron created a colorful infographic full of tips and to-dos for visiting the Chicago Flower & Garden Show. From a packed schedule of chef demonstrations to a variety of fun-in-the-garden activities for kids, we wanted to ensure that our audience understood that the Chicago Flower & Garden Show is much more than a casual stroll through a blossoming garden.
But that’s not all we did.
BatesMeron took infographics out of its digital-box and brought it into the wonderful world of print. Yep, instead of constricting our creative genes to a digital platform, we opened the door to more eyes through more marketing channels. And we choose print because—regardless of myth—people still love it! In fact, a survey from Two Sides showed that 70% of Americans said they prefer to read things on printed paper over a digital screen, and 67% said they liked the feel of print media over other mediums.
So, not only did we develop a one-glance review of can’t-miss attractions for the show, we created a tangible, take-home marketing tool that our audience can hold onto way past the close of the Chicago Flower & Garden Show (which happens to be March 23rd).
