Last Friday the team at BatesMeron was lucky enough to get a sneak peek at spring! No, this doesn’t mean we have the ins with Mother Nature, and we, too, have no clue when this Chicago weather will get its act together. But it does mean that we got to enjoy, explore and experience the fun of the 2014 Chicago Flower & Garden Show at their annual preview benefit, Evening in Bloom.
Filled with beautiful, life-size gardens (tulips, hyacinths, roses, conifers—it’s all there), catered by Chicago’s best chefs and eateries (cupcakes for days) and featuring spectacular backyard showstoppers (think huge waterfalls, ponds and gazebos), our night at Evening in Bloom was a refreshing and exciting way to welcome spring.
We don’t want to brag too much, but here is a look at how BMSD celebrated at Evening in Bloom.
A big thanks to our friends at Flower Show Productions for inviting us to Evening in Bloom. (We tried to be as well behaved as possible.) After having the chance to see the Chicago Flower & Garden Show for ourselves, we truly admit it is a can’t-miss experience that anyone would love!
If you haven’t had the opportunity to go yet, don’t wait! The Chicago Flower & Garden Show will only be at Navy Pier until this Sunday (March 23).
