Options Industry Conference – Los Angeles
Just 15 minutes outside of L.A., the ocean was calling to OIC attendees.
Terranea Resort was the ideal location for their 33rd annual conference, and the OIC team brought on BatesMeron to bring L.A.’s premier oceanfront destination to life for their meeting. Knowing that Terranea was the perfect getaway for both an innovative conference and plenty of fun in paradise, we made sure our efforts showcased all the best this resort had to offer.

Our first order of business was to capture the essence of Terranea Resort through a mood board that would inform all our event collateral. The cool, relaxed nature of a sunny California day and the calming effect of a salty ocean breeze brought out rich visual inspiration, rooting our design in a deep-sea teal blue, overlaid coral illustrations and organic accent colors and textures.
The resulting mood board, topped off with classic serif typography and gorgeous Terranea photography, is just a glimpse of what OIC’s 33rd annual meeting had in store for attendees.

Next, to help announce the highly anticipated location of the conference, we created a two-minute promotional video to ready attendees for the ultimate ocean getaway at Terranea Resort in Los Angeles. Focusing on the luxury of the hotel, including its oceanfront activities, relaxing spa options and first-class dining experiences, this preview captures the serenity of this beautiful location.
From golfing and dining to sunbathing, swimming and spa treatments, the extravagant Terranea Resort offered plenty for us to entice attendees with.
To house the promotional video and all other notable pre-event information, our team reskinned the existing OIC website to match our theme. Then, we pulled through our designs to conference collateral. A directory of all names, companies and contact information gave each attendee the star treatment, while a pocket-sized conference guide made it easy for attendees to quickly reference scheduling, maps and key event information from anywhere.
