Todd Pierce
account manager Soccer player. Dad joke connoisseur. If you hear a joke around the office that makes you think of your pops, nine times out of ten, it came from Todd.
Todd’s long and winding history with BatesMeron started when he was fresh out of college, hired as one of our first interns. He spent the majority of his tenure on staff as a designer, taking concepts and adapting them for our clients’ every need, from printed materials and social media graphics to complete websites. After nearly a decade of building his deep knowledge of our clients, he then made a seamless transition to account management, making Todd the longest-standing BatesMeron team member—something he never lets us forget.
Todd’s always had an interest in and an eye for beautiful, functional design. He first entered the marketing industry during his time at the University of Illinois Springfield, where he graduated with a degree in communications. Wanting to further hone his skills, he then earned his second degree in graphic design at Robert Morris University and found our agency shortly after.
Over the years, Todd grew into our jack of all trades. We learned to lean on him for in-depth knowledge on our clients’ operations, organizational know-how on our own processes and tips and tricks for both design and production abilities. Now, after years of creating happy clients with his designs and marketing best practices, he has more than enough expertise to keep them happy with his project management talents.
With his background, Todd’s able to handle any task, organizational or creative, we throw at him. The rapport he’s built with our clients is only paralleled by our team’s trust in his ability to keep us all strategically focused and on track. We all know that with Todd on the job, we’re in good hands. Along with his strong work ethic, he’s known for his positive “I-got-this” attitude and subtle one-liners (we hear them, Todd).
Part account manager, part designer, part athlete, part picky eater—you won’t be surprised to find Todd playing soccer with his friends, or avoiding lettuce at all costs.
