Steph Urbanovich

Senior Designer Professional hobby collector. Godzilla appreciator.

Joining the team remotely from Buenos Aires, Argentina, she brings a bottomless curiosity and a genuine love for making things, preferably silly ones.

As a kid with an overflowing imagination, she was always creating and always asking questions. In design, she found the one place where all her scattered interests, random facts and creative impulses could finally live together under one roof. She followed that instinct through an art-focused high school and into a five-year Licenciatura in Visual Communication Design at the National University of La Plata, then kept going with courses in UX/UI, prototyping, project management and programming.

Before BatesMeron, she spent years freelancing and designing remotely for international clients of every size, always driven by what she loves most: helping a client reach the best possible result. She's a problem-solver at heart, curious, quick on her feet, and determined to find a solution no matter the challenge.

Outside of work, Steph is always chasing a new hobby to learn or something to create. She's also a bit of a collector, with a soft spot for vintage cameras and old video game consoles. At home, you'll find her with her partner Yaroslav and their cat Michi (with a permanent soft spot for Pickles, the orange tabby who has her heart forever), curled up with a good fantasy book, watching movies or playing video games. Or down at the local hobby shop, losing track of time with her friends playing boardgames and TCG.
