This past week was Fashion Week in New York City, and all the haughty models, intense designers and inspiring designs had us thinking of…flowers.
Fret not—our minds haven’t confused floral with fashion. We’ve been working on collateral for the Chicago Flower & Garden Show, you see, and the Show’s fashion-inspired theme has us picturing flowers stomping down the runway whenever we hear “model,” “designer” or “make it work.”
The theme for the 2012 Show is “Hort Couture,” which inspired our designer Melissa to create a poster starring a fabulous lady in pink, with mums where a model’s pout would usually be.
We named her Ana.
And of course, to put on a real runway show, you need more than one model—so Dani, Spencer and Natalia were born.
The girls are currently strutting their stuff on some sponsor presentations and rack cards, but soon, you’ll be able to spot them all over the city! We couldn’t be more excited for their debut—or for the Chicago Flower & Garden Show itself, which is a blast for garden and fashion lovers alike. To learn more about all the fun times the Show has to offer, like culinary demonstrations, hands-on workshops and kids activities, scoot over to chicagoflower.com. You can also like them on Facebook to get updates on the Show.
And why don’t you like us too, while you’re at it? Get even more design goodness on the BatesMeron Magic-Fantastic Facebook Page.
