Get to know David Muir, BatesMeron’s newest writer! He has been called a writer’s writer by his peers, has 20+ years of marketing experience and is a father of 2. A combination that makes him a perfect fit for our team.
I interviewed David as part of our 6 Questions feature: a series of one-on-one interviews with people we work with who make us proud. Sometimes we like to turn the tables and put our staffers in the hot seat, so you get to meet them, and see just how special our team is.
According to the rules of real estate it’s all about, “Location, location, location.” I guess that’s why so many New Yorkers live in closet sized apartments.
Or is it the Matthew McConaughey idea of success? Pull up to paradise, put the trailer in park, keep the beers cold and hit the water while the eve is warm.
In college I realized I was terrible at multiple choice.
Shameless plug, I would have to direct you to a short story called, Miles Per Hour (MPH): https://www.davidlmuir.com/mph
When not writing or people watching, I collect vinyl records, shoot pool and longboard.
I play instrumentals. Lately it’s been Roc Marciano, Apollo Brown and 9th Wonder.
Or I watch a video of someone doing something exceptionally well. It can be anything. A guy repairing a roof or a women’s track meet—Jamaica Gold 2024!
I think the best brands are the ones that build over time. Ones that practice longevity by balancing their product, service or solution in a way that mitigates overexposure. Like, Saucony.
Around the pandemic they revealed their Q1, 2022 earnings with revenue of roughly $106 million and growth of 4%. That’s bananas!
I like to rock the Saucony Jazz. The colors range from stoic to flavor.
